<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->I WAS diagnosed with early gastric cancer in Changi General Hospital in November last year.
Knowing the urgency of my condition, Dr Ang Tiing Leong, the director of the Endoscopy Centre and consultant to the Gastroenterology Division, spared no effort to meet me five days later to discuss treatment options.
Various checks were done urgently and two endoscopic submucosa dissections were performed, meticulously and successfully, last month.
From the day I met Dr Ang to the day of my discharge, he was very reassuring and demonstrated, other than his excellent professional skill, great patience and care. I was touched by his concern, regular visits during my stay and personal call during my recuperation. He is a first-class surgeon with premium qualities and great compassion.
Nurses Ingrid, Meishi and Choo Sew Fong of Ward 29, Lai Wah of the Endoscopy Centre and the nurses of Ward 49 were professional and cheerful. They demonstrated great care and provided high-quality personalised service during my stay.
I fervently request the Changi General Hospital management to exalt such professional care and service by these individuals to all its medical practitioners and caregivers. Changi General will undoubtedly achieve the status of a first-class hospital if such exemplary standards were propagated and exhibited by all there.

Please lah.... I assume Wong is not some filthy rich Singaporeans. If Wong was, Wong needs not go to CGH. Wong could go to some private hospital and had everything done at double quick timing.

5 days at CGH is still "acceptable" if you are a "poor" bloke. What to do ? If you want to be that sick and not rich, yet yourself admitted to public hospital, you dun expect 5 Stars treatment like Mt Elizabeth or Gleneagles.

So, in Singapore or Sinkapoor, when you are poor, it is Sinkapoor..... better to die than to get sick ....Why ?? Our Goddess of No Mercy is in the making. The partner of Goddess of No Mercy is not in the capacity to celebrate Chinese New Year.
