Central World Plaza (something like AMK Hub) had been burnt to the ground.
"burnt to the ground" ? Did you verify it ?
Central World is the biggest mall in BKK, its almost the same size as Vivo, but 6 storeys of retail shops with office towers. It is the 2nd largest mall in Asia.....Central World Plaza (something like AMK Hub) had been burnt to the ground.
Nope, Central World bigger, been there many times liao...central world is not the largest, used to call World Trade,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the Largest is Siam Paragon,,,,,,,,,
Yeah, loved that place. Known as World Trade Center in the 90s. I used to use the bus stop outside it take Aircon Bus No. 4 to Don Muang Airport. So sad.
Do keep us update, koon ja rawang naCentral World is as big as Paragon. In fact if you are a Thai you'd probably say that Seacon Square is the largest in Thailand. But as this is along Srinakarin near Bang Na it is mostly frequented by locals. So most foreigners will not know. This one is really big.
Coming back to CTW (Central World) right after the Red leaders surrendered at around 2pm local time there was an attempt to burn CTW. Only the ground floor was affected but the blaze was quickly put our by the security and staff. The PR manager even came up to announce it was minor. However at about 4-5pm a group of arsonists came back and this was after the army's announcement of "job done". At this time of writing CTW is already almost completely burnt and there were talks that it may collapse.
People, I used the word arsonists because no one can ascertain if these are Reds. Please do not believe all that the government is saying. There are just too many factions here in Thailand. In fact I strongly believe that many of the so called Reds in Black having heavy weapons are actually Rangers loyal to Seh Daeng who just wanted revenge for their beloved Commander of the Special Forces. These guys really have an axe to grind especially against the Royal Guards.
Its 9.25pm now, almost one and a half hour into curfew. I am writing from my home in Bangkok. I am well stocked with food, water and fuel. If this continues I should be able to last for at least 2 weeks.
Do keep us update, koon ja rawang na
