There are many members here who are doing exactly the same by trying the shame the PAP by constantly making negative and derogatory comments about the way they run the country.

I therefore see absolutely nothing wrong with a few threads that question the performance of the opposition. It brings balance and variety to the forum and should be actively encouraged.

No one has an issue with questioning the opposition but when the job is done by someone who claims to be a member not of the PAP but of the opposition force, it is hard for this person to avoid being slammed.

Because unlike PAP supporters who is surely expected to side PAP and whack WP, pretending to be a disgruntled opposition supporter portrays a false image of objectivity into your arguments and is a fraudulent endeavour.

It does seem that people who will vote any opposition, including KJ and DL, intend to spoil their vote for GMS. The real decline is him and not WP.

PAP should also be embarrassed that none in their ranks, Hri and Indranee included, can fire torpedoes at WP the way GMS does.

Having been a member of the WP, Mr Goh has far more in depth knowledge of the WP than the rest of us. He is entitled to air his views and start as many threads as he wants.

The idea that the PAP is evil whereas the WP are saints is simply ludicrous. Every organisation has their strengths and their weaknesses. The WP is no different and I have to agree with the observation that the WP has been very ineffective in parliament since they took office after 2011.

Politics is about a lot more than just organising social events and giving away hampers to old farts.

Depends on what you mean by "in-depth knowledge".

Most former members would not spill in-depth workings as this would be seen as a breach of trust. Even by revealing email exchanges of an organization that you are not part of, like what SDP tends to do very often, can invite backlash. For whatever reasons GMS doesn't reveal private discussions that may have led him to think in certain terms about WP.

As for hitting at position or policies of a party, you don't really need "in-depth knowledge".

That's not how the facts appear to me. WP files at least 50 written PQs every sitting, not counting the motions and press releases, surfacing government underhands like AIM and confiscation of land by PA. Concerning the WP 'scandals' havent it been proven tat its all pappie political attacks which has backfired? How come Got More Shit never criticise the pappies for their fuck ups?
