STOMPer Domingo was appalled when he spotted this SAF soldier blatantly lying down to sleep at Bishan MRT station.

In an email to STOMP yesterday (Feb 28), the unimpressed STOMPer said:

“This is the epitome of an ill-discipline SAF soldier.

“At 6.30am at Bishan MRT station, A SAF corporal in uniform slept on the bench while he was waiting for the train. A MRT staff in uniform later woke him up.

“Most people if they are sleepy would sit and close their eyes, but not this corporal who blatantly lied down to sleep.

“He later alighted at Khatib station.”

Obviously the standards at SAF are down.

No biggie, there are alot of bangla, thai "corporals, majors, colonels" all also sleeping like this at construction sites.

During exercise, we're trained to sleep anywhere, in trenches and tents, with high humidity and mosquitoes, while cradling the AR15 or using SBO as pillow. This stomper doesn't understand the plight of our great NSmen, he should be deported.

You must be damn lao jiao to use the term AR15 instead of M16!

it only means that the soldier is truly well trained. cos when going thru BMT (basic military training), they already undergo the EACSC (everywhere also can sleep course), then towards his ORD........... he will go for CCC (civilian conversion course). that's how our servicemen look like civilian after the brains turned green for 2-2.5yrs
