Serious uncle in food court told me that if SQ321 flew directly to Singapore instead of Bangkok, SG MOH maybe not able to handle the injured victims of SIA

Singapore MOH is always facing the chronic shortages of hospital beds and it is extremely lucky for Singapore that Bangkok was willing to accept all the SIA victims

I do not believe that the hospitals in Singapore are unable to deal with such a crisis.
I also believe that the relevant agencies in Singapore should be able to mobilize and call up all the necessary health care professionals and optimize the facilities in Singapore.
I am not a member of any political party. I am not affiliated with any government agency.
It is rare that I praise the Singapore government.

Or maybe the PAP technocrats didn't want the bad optics of media coverage of the casualties on home soil, let some ASEAN neighbour sucker deal with it instead.

everytime they tell you there are not enough medical resources at the hospitals and clinics, know they are fucking trying to scare you into submitting to their narrative.

The uncle told me that the time taken to divert the flight from Irrawaddy Delta to Bangkok and waiting for the landing clearance and road congestion is the same if the flight directly flew to Changi

There is almost no time saving in these 2 scenario and he told me that he was surprise why flight detour from Irrawaddy Delta to Bangkok.

If madam Kwa could be air lifted from London to Singapore, why SIA victims could not be flew directly from Irrawaddy Delta to Changi ? Since the distance is so short and this distance is about the same as from Irrawaddy Delta to Bangkok

Now many Thai patients cannot find their hospital beds in Bangkok
The SIA patients ended up in hiso hospitals, Samitavej where King Bhumibol was admitted and Bangkok Hospital with Arab clientele.

Thais go to cheap government hospitals like Petcharavej and Phaya Thai hospitals.

I'm responding to your post that Thais cannot find hospitals.

I'm pointing out there is no conflict of interest ... majority of Thais go to government hospitals where they are heavily subsidized to almost free.

SQ casualties are paid by SQ or its insurers. The government will be foolish to send them to cheap hospitals.

I'm stating a fact, not laughing at the Thais. The rich ones come to Mt. Elizabeth.

Whenever the Thais come back from hospital, I asked them how much they paid.

They said got social security card they paid 50 baht. You laugh at them ? I laugh at Sinkies.

I used to go Bangkok Hospital for meals, I see only rich Arabs. I cannot afford Bangkok Hospital. Even the Dental Hospital, a subsidiary of Bangkok Hospital, is expensive.

I speculate that the decision to seek an emergency landing at Bangkok, is probably due to urgent need to treat the seriously injured individuals.
