That's why I said Singaporeans must not let LHL and the Committee of Cronies have their way and declare her to be Malay. Singapore is a law abiding country. How can such a blatant abuse be let off with a suit?

What is the purpose of the section marked RACE in both the SG Birth Certificate and also the NRIC and other official documents? If a person whose race indicated in the BC and NRIC can be arbitrarily superceded by a so called COMMITTEE (whose credibility & authority is very dubious). Can HY then claim backdated refund for education etc reserved for true blue Malays????

Its all very confusing-so is a person's race in singapore legally decided by what's in your IC, your father's race (as in his IC?) or by a committee?

Like that when applying for things based on race eg mendaki scholarships/bursaries, HDB flats ect2, do we need a committee to certify our race or just based on IC leh-since in halimah's case its by committee. For example a person apply for HDB flat as an Indian(as in IC) but has been living and accepted by the malay community as a malay- can that person sell under the malay quota?

The Court should be asked to decide-which is the legally accepted definition if race in singapore
