Two men from Telangana lost their lives, and another was injured in a Dubai bakery attack. The assailant, reportedly a Pakistani national, allegedly shouted religious slogans during the incident. The victims’ families shared these details on Tuesday. Ashtapu Premsagar, 35, from Soan village in Nirmal district, was one of the deceased, according to his uncle A Poshetty.
Premsagar had been working at the bakery for five to six years and last visited his family two years ago. He leaves behind a wife and two children. Poshetty has urged the government to assist in repatriating Premsagar’s remains to India and provide financial aid to his family due to their economic hardships.
The second victim was identified as Srinivas from Nizamabad district. A third individual, Sagar, sustained injuries and is currently hospitalised, as confirmed by his wife Bhavani in Nizamabad district. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed sorrow over the incident and has communicated with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for assistance in returning the bodies to India….
