Singapore is a Rule of Law & welcomes all. NOT everyone is a criminal & would be foolish if not discriminatory that all are. It would be by EVIDENCES of crime or bad social behavior that the one responsible would be held into account. Such is the privilege of visa free travels & should not such be taken for granted, or else will only face consequences for their own actions.
We Singapore stand firm on our law & policies. Even in the case of American Michael Fay incident in 1994, investigated & with evidences of vandalism on our shores , despite appeal from no less than from the American President, WE caned him.
There were some whom said that USA would send a special forces team to rescue Fay. At that time, it so happened that our elite Commandos were on joint training with them & such a question was posed to them. They laughed out loud & said if Singapore would not cane him, they PERSONALLY would, let alone rescue that privileged son of a bit*h......
