Easier said than done, some may say, to turn your disadvantage into an advantage.
But after reading some of the sad posts in this forum, I must encourage all of us to try this.
Those people with seemingly great lives or great situations in their lives, may also be in situations that could potentially be detrimental to them.
Similarly for those of us who think that we are in miserable situations, try to look at the positive side.
For example, if we are short of money, look at it from the view that we have nothing to lose. If we are alone or lonely, look at it from the view that we have no commitments, burdens, worries, bargaining chips for our enemies, etc.

good optimism, but it will also take some encouragement from the ppl around you to be able to handle that correctly.

alternatively like if you are rich and famous, you can't even walk in the streets and enjoy what peasants enjoy without being identified and being hustled for money or other purposes...

nothing is absolute in life, always count your blessings from God....:D

In this case, the less you know, the less worries u have. Everyone should not allow their kids to have education. And of cos in Sinkapore, that is against the law for your info.

Good advice once again from TeeKee our Resident Religious Quack!

Here's an advice I once received - life has to go on, whether in pleasant or unpleasant situations.

since god created human being, ur god should also destroy human being.

Actually no, the State education system is crap....mass producing people with same thinking and hence easily controllable..inhibits growth..retards brains with 'National education'...and Hakka Lee Regime propaganda machineries...

Home schooling is much more superior....helps to stimulate individual thoughts and promote independence...and development to the fullest potential..

Unfortunately,in some cases, it is the people around you who are the most negative.
That doesn't mean that we should be delusional either.
Let's take the example of someone who takes publlic transport.
We should all know and accept that it means getting up earlier, walking to the bus stop or mrt station, squeezing with locals and foreigners, sometimes standing for the whole journey, etc. Let's not kid ourselves that these are great things.
But also remember that you get some exercise, don't have the stress of dealing with parking and arsehole drivers, don't have to concentrate the whole journey, don't have to deal with people comparing the makes of their cars, don't have to worry about road tax, maintenance, oil prices etc.

I recommend reading Richard Bachman - The Long Walk

This book tell you more about life than anything else, Bachman is really a terrific storyteller unlike Stephen King who like to write demons nonsenses. :D

Sometimes, it is better to read demons nonsenses. :)
