Vietnam is a special case. They're trying to re-industrialise after decades of wars. Of course they've become China's final product assembly base after Trump's first round of tariffs. They are caught in a corner.
They only have a small part of manufacturing supply chain and still relies on China. How they move forward really depends on what terms US gives them.

Once again, what can America export to China? Their cars and aeroplanes are shit. They only sell business services which can be replaced.
And the big problem is the USD, being the world reserve currency, has been printed like toilet paper during the last 5 years. Means all the hard work of other countries became wasted selling to the US.
Have, American soft products such as Google, Meta, YouTube etc which China refuse their entry.
