There is a difference though. Cars dont drive on paths and roads filled with people walking and jogging.

We chose these criteria because we consider this class of scooter to be a notch above the commuter class of electric scooter . As a high performance scooter, we chose criteria that make these scooters a blast to ride, albeit heavier to carry. Performance comes with a cost – and that cost is not only price, but weight as well. Better parts, bigger batteries, and more powerful motors are heavier. However, there is one scooter that bucks this trend.
Scooters that didn't make the cut
Getting to the best, we had to narrow the field. Not making the final three are some great options if your budget is on the lower side of this price range:

• The Joyor T10 has an amazing 62 mile range but has only a single 500 watt motor.
• Qiewa Q1 Hummer is a thug of scooter but has only a single 800 watt motor and no international presence/support.
• FLJ T113 has power to spare and killer off-road tires, but no international presence/support.
• Zero 10 is a wonderful value, but the Zero 10X is a better scooter overall.

Support is important
As you can see, we are starting to give preference to brands/resellers that provide a website with telephone support. The high-end of the scooter market is getting flooded with copycat companies – looking to compete only on price and selling only from AliExpress or other similar platforms. All scooter owners will need support at some point, and we feel it is our job to include support/service as part of this evaluation process.
