For sedans Honda rules both Civic and Accord
those are the two most stolen cars in california, especially by teens during memorial weekend which is the end of the school season and start of summer. easy to break in, easy to force-start, and easy to get away with as older hondas are still reliable and have some value.

SAN JOSE — A 13-year-old boy who was a passenger in a stolen car suffered life-threatening injuries Monday night in a crash, and another 13-year-old boy suspected of being behind the wheel was arrested, according to police.
The crash occurred after the driver of a stolen blue 1995 Honda Accord fled from police who had attempted to make a car stop in the area of McLaughlin Avenue and Tully Road, according to San Jose police Sgt. Enrique Garcia.
The Honda turned off its lights as it fled north on McLaughlin, and officers did not pursue the stolen car, Garcia said. Instead, officers broadcast the car’s last known direction of travel.
A white 2014 Ford C-Max, driven by a man, was traveling south on McLaughlin and making a left turn onto eastbound Bacchus Drive when the stolen Honda collided with it nearly head-on, Garcia said.
The Honda continued onto the sidewalk where it collided with a traffic pole and skidded to a stop, police said.
Two passengers, a 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy, tried to run away but were caught by arriving officers. The driver was trapped in the Honda and arrested. The 13-year-old passenger with critical injuries was rushed to a hospital.
The driver of the Ford received injuries that were not life-threatening.
