just food for thoughts:nothing has changed at MOM? still as cock up as before?
...or they have lost control and it's all falling apart now?just food for thoughts:
each time a C19 positive pops up, how much does it cost for deep cleaning? how long can these companies do these deep cleaning when cases pop up daily? do they continue to report all C19 positives daily or report them by batches? time sensitive as it it, can ring fence in time before it spreads or...?
Heard it's up to the construction site affected to do the deep cleaning themselves. In that case it would be the main contractor. Some of these main contractors already can't be bothered as since September, the numbers of affected workers keep on increasing in their sites. MOM already knew about the increase of the positive cases in the construction sectors and yet the public is not informed about it. Everything is swept under the carpet now. Unlike in the past when the MOM stopped all work each time a site is affected, this time there's no more stop work order and the site is allowed to carry on working as normal. Affected workers are told to quarantine themselves in their dorms and continue taking their ART tests during their quarantine period and update their supervisors. And latest news is MOH and MOM already stopped all compulsory PCR testing in the construction industry. For those in the industry, they are told to do the ART testing themselves be it in the dorms, site offices or at homes during their off days. Seems like the Government has already given up the fight. They probably know they are now fighting a losing battle.just food for thoughts:

Looks like some construction(?) crony has money flow problems.
