What an insult to the intelligence of Singaporeans and to free speech. If she can’t stand the heat then get out of the kitchen, but to have a minister advice her to just ignore the “noise” is a telling revelation that this is how the PAP Ministers, or at least this particular Minister goes about dealing with comments from Singaporeans. Are they not paid to listen to the people or “noise” and take the cue from them as to what the people want and seek to address it.
Here people are saying that they are shocked that “PAP” is trying to pass of a dud as a candidate who will get into parliament on the coat tail of the GRC bangwagon. The GRC has to be voted out and I hope Singaporeans will wise up that they should actively vote against the GRC and kick out these lightweight individuals out of ever getting into parliament.
I mean, have these MPs no shame? no sense that they are not getting voted into parliament on their own merits but for instance in TP, on the coat tail of LKY. What an absolute joke and the joke is the shameless MPs who stand there and come into parliament in this manner and then stride around as if they are just so great to get into parliament.
If PAP truly has the guts and the political acumen, they should scrape the GRC, return to SMC, and let the games begin…the opposition has many credible candidates and if not this election by the next 2-3 elections we can wave goodbye as the PAP titanic sinks…but they have brought in granades to make it sink faster or earlier in the form of Tin Pei Ling…
I like to meet any sane Singaporean who actually considered and weighed all the issues concerning Tin Pei Ling and then actually voted for her??? no one votes for you Tin Pei Ling, if you have any sense of duty to Singapore, please voluntarily step off the PAP slate and tell the truth to PAP, you are a liability to not just PAP but to Singapore.
After that, you can take your parent’s to Universal Studio or Italy or both, and go on a shopping spree with your old man husband, and that is another winner too, by the time you are older, he would be so old, you can put him in an oldies home and enjoy his pension…
Gosh, life is truly good for you…
