i am very sad and confused.

i always held belief that couples will go thru thick and thin.
but now i reliaze that this is not so...
wifey keeps blaming me for leaving my former job when i try to strike out on my own...keeps nagging and picking.

even when i explain to her its always hard in the beginning..no venture no gain...

You have to explain to her that playing the blame game is not gonna get anything solved. Anyway its too late to turn back the clock and get the former job back.

i dont regret leaving my former job in fact quite happy.

What i cant stand is my wife constant nagging and blaming.

Few yrs ago , when i got married. I was pennliess. I was working. I have the desire to strike out. bad thing happen , i got the sack from company. I was quite happy as i can strike out on my own.

You should tell her what you just wrote above too.
Sometimes, women are just voicing out their thoughts,
they do not realize its nagging.

If you realize she is the fair weather type, then you should
solve the problem at the root, especially if you have no children.

Sorry to hear that bro. I alway believe that the man must earn more than the woman in order to maintain some basic pride. I have friends who are constantly nagged by the wife because she earns more than him. She even threw his clothes out of the house thinking that he can't live without her financial support. He was scolded by the wife in front of the in-laws and called a useless bum.

You just have to take it if you still love her but you should know where you stand in her heart now. Money more important than you.
