Well, I don't miss the following except that they remind me of my (largely happy) youth. There were several request programmes on RTS Radio. The two I remembered were for loved ones and oddly enough for people in hospitals.

Well, the people who made the requests and those who received them had names like: Elvis Presley Tan; Michael Jackson Wong or Suzy Quattro Lim. They were hilarious but somehow the DJs managed to read them out with a straight voice.

Many of the engineers were honoured.
Now they are able to send a team to the recent

The National Theatre with its rhombus shaped facade. Thats where most of the kids like me born in the late 60's and early 70's have their family outing to. Now which CCB have it demolished?! And why?! Why must our sweet child memories be erased just like that?! Why no one ever defended against the demolition of such a beautiful monument. I just can't get it.:(

based on what i know, the reason - This National Theatre was People's building, i.e. every single brick was donated by locals, unlike others govt buildings that come from state fund. That's made MM very uncomfortable. Thus, he used an excuse that "there was some cracks in the building".

so far, none of our fin.ministers have had the experience of a financial 911. to date, there've not been any experienced financial 911 experts come to salvage the situation.
