things you miss from the past?

Mom gave me, I thought i have few of them and other series
but couldn't find it???
She also gave me all the old notes and coins,
never go and touch them, in my drawer.
Some of them seemed to be missing? :P

Redifussion. Gold & Silver Channel. Remember when i was in Pri 5. Listen to "Li Da Sha" story telling over Silver Channel at 1:30pm t0 2:00pm. Remember clearly cos was in the morning session at Pri 5 & reached home before 1:30pm if the school bus was not held up in traffic jam.:D

and not forgetting weekends evening when they broadcast the horse races..

which is currently use most. Before the Bird is what?

1819 Money was first brought into Singapore by the traders. Silver dollars, especially the Mexican dollar, were popular among the traders.

Oct 1903 Following the recommendation by the Straits Settlements Currency Committee, chaired by Sir David Barbour, the new silver Straits dollar was introduced.
Dec 1904 The government suspended the authority of the Chartered Bank to issue bank notes.
Aug 1908 The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and the Merchantile Bank were also suspended by the government from issuing notes.

- Sep 1945 The Japanese "Banana" notes were in circulation during the Japanese occupation.
