50% empty. Think again. sinkieland got 6 million population. of which 3 million is sinkies and 3 million FT. If got any conflict, the border with malaysia will be closed. So no one can get out that way. U can go out by sea, but again, since sinkieland is now a warzone, no ship insurer will allow their ships to sail into sinkieland to evacuate people. Airlines can try and evacuate people, but on average, a commercial airliner holds only 200-250 pax. So u need 1000 flights just to evacuate 250,000 people. That doesn't even make a dent in the millions of people who want to get out.

So, in the end, only Familee, PAP elites, and very rich people will be able to buy or get on one of the few commercial flights leaving, or have their own private jet, or in the case of Familee and PAP elites, use RSN ships and RSAF planes to leave. The rest of the peasants are stuck here. Not 50% my friend. Closer to 95% will still be stuck here in the event of armed conflict.
