obviously, there are so many undone necessary things in punggol east during michael palmer's days. why weren't they done? why are pap now repeating those promises that they had already committed during the last GE?

it proves that they didn't not live up their promises. they are repeating them now. what the hell did michael do when he was in charged?

obviously not much other then mangoing around in exchange for loads.

if analman were to be voted in, the same would repeat. nothing much would be done. his resume puts him as a very capable person with lots of commitments. would he able to fulfil his obligations as PE mp? he's so busy digging asses and getting paid. would there really be time left for him to look into voters' plights and ward's problems?

pap's motive is just to win the ward and save their face. other then that, it doesn't matter whether the elected mp performs or not. if they really did, then obviously palmer would have done that during his heydays there.
imo, wp's candidate is the better and obvious choice. it's up to punggolers whether they are bold enough to make the choice and vote the pap out like hougangers and the aljunied grc. there might be a tendency that the pap gov would make things difficult for the opp to run the ward should they win. if that's the case, the pap is proven beyond doubt as pure kiasu and hypocrites. their aim is not to serve the voters. their aim is just to rule over them!

think of the consequences once the pap win again. many things shall surely go up like nobody's business. i got a feeling the next thing that everyone shall not be left behind being screwed daily would be the increase of GST to 10%.

it's up to the punggol voters to stop pap now or never. the last GE only gave them a slap on their hand, this loss shall kick them hard in the butt!

do not let the pap rule again so tyrantly. show them that peoples' power is a alive.

The government is uncooperative, that is why. Please note that it is the Govt's job to solve those problems. They have the budget from taxpayers' money. The MP's job is to identify the big issues and get the Govt to solve. Remember that. They have different roles.

if the paps are more for "fixing the opps" which now include the voters who reject the paps, would the people there still get the kind of ammenities?

hougang has all the while under the mercy of the pap which obstruct the upgrading becos of it being an opp ward. for such unsporting discrimination, paps should be "charged" for abusing their power.

What is happening in PE is just scratching the surface. If Palmer had not been caught eating forbidden mangoes, all the rot would have been exposed.
