Whoever proof read this and corrected it for grammar must really hate this guy or has been patronising him or both. Read carefully as you will never come across another letter like this. I do feel sorry for this chap. This guy needs professional help.

I can't help but conclude that those who formed his advisory team were complicit in allowing this man to stand for Presidency knowing well that he is unwell.

My First impression of Kin Lian is so shocking that I cannot imagine how he became NTUC INCOME CEO. But after one of his managers became a taxi-driver that it drawn to me why my Canadian source is so pissed with him. (My appologies to my source for not listening to him initially)

Of course, to have him in the anti-PAP camp is a godsend for the PAP (methink, what do you think of someone who will spoil the anti-PAP soup?)

No need for details in your post mortem. The most damning evidence was there all along. You, Tan Kin Lian have no head! The latent lips and fingerprints of Ramseth and Goh Meng Seng found on your penis are irrelevant. In all likelihood, the prints are proof they were trying to "fluff" you. The impression I get from TKL is that the early support he got, back before anyone else had declared their intention to run for President, got into his head. Back then, people were just hoping for someone, anyone, to run against the presumed PAP-endorsed candidate that would be running, so there was more support for him. Once TCB and subsequently TJS declared their intentions, the support for him waned because he has already outlasted his usefulness - TKL was no longer needed and the new candidates are stronger. And he still thought that all the early support he got will stick around after the other candidates appeared.

The annoying part about it all is that he himself said that he wanted to run to allow the people to have the choice to vote. Fair enough, I accept and applaud that. Once there are other candidates though, this reason fell flat. Especially when he did say before the COEs came out that he would consider withdrawing if other candidates manage to get COEs, but in the end that came to naught.

i actually thought that TKL could at least capture enough of the sympathy votes, to at least take home the election deposit. sad to say, his campaign was going downhill. especially when he pressed the self-destruct button on the eve of cooling-off-day (COD). i didnt think the fella would suddenly cry foul play stating that TJS was supposed to help him on his campaign, but later signed up to be another candidate.

in essence, he has to thank his lucky stars that the establishment allowed himself & TJS to join the rat race, diluting the votes for TCB. if he had backed out of the election at the early stage, we wont be seeing the KFC clone swearing at the Istana today.

He might have retained some goodwill in future elections and social circles. Now he does this again, he's just digging himself deeper and deeper into the pits.

When he asked for donations for his campaign and claimed he wanted Singaporeans to be part of it, I felt uneasy. An ex-CEO of his status, this sum should be no big deal and none of the candidates make an issue out of this. Only he did.

The less he speaks, the less he creates problems for himself.
