An Israeli airstrike orphaned 3-year-old Yamen​

Three-year-old Yamen is the sole survivor of an Israeli airstrike in Zaitoun, south of Gaza city, that killed his parents, siblings, and uncles.

His uncle Obaida, who now cares for him, found Yamen under a tree after the strike.

UNICEF estimates that more than 17,000 Palestinian children are orphaned or otherwise unaccompanied in Gaza.
