Their benefits are their high pay...pinky inferred that. And that is where their Benefits end... anymore n it's corruption

If you consider the talent they possess the pay they get is actually pretty ordinary. If they were in the private sector they could easily earn 10x their ministerial salaries.

They are making a big sacrifice serving the people of Singapore. Why the huge fuss over this minor issue. Nobody else wants to stay in those houses because of the ongoing costs involved in maintaining the grounds. The good ministers are doing everyone a favor we should be thanking them not admonishing them.

This earn more in Private sector than public sector BS cause these ministers heart break than they should go private sector. No one stopping them. If they no heart to serve n being in power destroys the livelihoods of the man on the street. Look at Trump. He lost half his wealth by being president but he continues fighting to be president again because he has the heart for the people and love of God and the country. That why he the best president ever. But look at those pap ppl that complain about the private sector wealth BS. Wat they achieve? They just run their depts on auto pilot and comprain how hard their life is,... the tyranny Trump face and his lost in wealth will make these pap cry n run like no tomorrow

60% voted for it. Don't blame pap... Blame those who put pap in power. Elections have consequences.
I agree.
All those eligible to vote, did not vote fir enough non PAP MPs, to deny the PAP of a 2/3 majority, to deny them opportunities to amend the Constitution.

The people perceived they are guilty on prima facie evidence ie court of public opinion.

Just by staying above law is the lowest passable moral benchmark.

While technically no corruption was committed, it obvious that preferential treatments were given to the 2 ministers.

Nothing much CPIB could do as it doesn't involve 2 ways transactions aka bribing someone in exchange for something back.

Tch just piggyback on CPIB investigation report mislead the public no preferential treatment were given.

Investigating any procedural lapse or if preferential treatment were given should be the job of Auditor General Office. How come AGO wasn't involved?

Truly dishonest.
