If Tan Chuan Jin thought that being not entirely honest about cabbies' income would score points and show what an awesome job the MOM and the 'tripartite gang' had done, his little cunning plan must have surely backfired now.

Every time they introduce a new taxi model, the rental will go up $10 to $20. The association should protest over such profiteering rather than taking it and complain that money is not enough to cover rental.
