This is a big group of people, of course, most of them are PAP supporters !

Oppo parties must remember that these people are also humans , they are not dogs, they also have emotions !

Oppo parties should try to win them over however difficult ! They are not slaved to any MP , they are purely volunteers !

Oppo parties at the GE should also educate the voters not to call these people PAP dogs ! These people also do have personal problems and some may work as high office civil servants, and many may be PRs to show loyalty in order to get citizenship ! There are many reasons why they become like that !

Oppo parties must tell the voters to treat these people like friends, they may be voters of PAP, but they have a heart in them !

Some people take time to learn what is right and what is wrong , oppo parties must be patient with them however !

Oppo parties also need people to help out so do the other parties ! Lets be fair to these PAP people.

Show your magnanimity and these PAP people will respect you !

Many of them may work very hard but may not be selected for higher office you know !

Oppo parties can also talk to them to give oppo parties a chance to work with them !

Next GE, Oppo parties must engage all voters include RC and CCC people !

You are wrong all all points. RC and CCC chaps are ALL people allied with the MIW. They are there for selfish reasons - BBM, PBM, business benefits and advantages etc. Few are there purely for altruistic reasons.

What TKY is trying to put up is simple: make friends with gRC and CC people and should the oppositioon won that ward, it would be easier to get volunteers from that area to help out on community work. So what if RC and CC is under PA? they are volunteers and could go anywhere as long as they feel belong to and help out. Why alienate them? Why create enemies when you dont have to?

Most of them are in it to polish apple. You will know that when NDP comes along and they come knocking on your door pleading you to put up the flag because everyone else does. Not doing it will make them look bad. In this world, there will always be the spineless lot who cannot achieve things on their own, so they freeload on those with power, thinking they can get favours answered. They are called leeches. In Singapore, they are also called RC volunteers.

Yea yea yea, NOT all would allie themselves with the PAP....but let me tell you as a past in those community and PAP works....out of 100, 95 to 98 of them are PAP supporters....strong supporters.....the other 5 will be supporters during ERECTION time.

Don't waste time on these running dogs lah.

I based my comments on the people I know who are into RC and CCC matters. I did not comment based on my imagination.

True, there may be some who are all for volunteer work within the RC and CCC but I assess it is less than 10%. Why are some oldtimers upset and why do they resign when they find younger chaps and those junior in service overtaking them when BBM and PBM gets awarded?

I am always full of admiration for those who do volunteer work without being noticed and without expecting anything in return. Once there is an objective other than true volunteer work, it is no longer altruism.
