I suspect that someone is interfering in Fandi's life as many lifelines have been extended to him. His personality, good looks, his legends can be milked for various community and state campaigns, goodwill ambassador etc. he could easlu secure coaching contracts among the many clubs. The Govt has intervened before.
I have asked around but the usual reply is that it is not Fandi but ....?
It is a well known fact that he is a nice guy but hopeless in business.
By the way, he returned home from Ajax because he was very homesick, could not stand the wether and food and not because of religion. He was very young and his uncle was no help. It must have been his biggest regret.
There are numerous jobs in govt linked sports apparatus and there is no issue. It of course is not going to pay $25k or even $10k. It has has always been a mystery.

Agree Fandi was more a FRANK lampard rather than a PAUL lampard.......with those guys who only listens to the good stuff.
Another non Paul lampard is APS.....that is why he got less gigs than his peers who went on to hold positions in the swimming bodies.
