RP is truly an enigma. When it was first started, it attracted many talented people and the enthusiastic youth. The party looked promising and was tipped to be able to make the PAP sweat a little for its first GE.
However, during last year and the current, RP was rocked by sudden departures of the talented people. Alex Tok, Hazel Poa, Tony Tan and many more. Let us not forget that Nicole Seah was formerly from RP Youth Wing. It certainly is sad and makes one question what has Kenneth Jeyeratnam been doing that antagonized many.
Now RP has resorted to borrowing candidates and make an unprepared suicide charge to AMK GRC. Truly, it is sad to see RP transformed from promising to near-duds.
I need not mention much about SDA, except that it has always been leaning on Chiam and it is their loss to lose him.
