</TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=2><HR></TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=2>Heard at the WP rally that local born Singaporeans only constituted 57% of the entire population. This means we are going to be a minority in less than decade. By 2020, we should be down to 40% with the continuing influx of foreigners.
Bye Bye Singapore as we know it. We cannot avoid the fate of the Western Nations. I am waiting for my Mum to join my Dad in the other world before I apply to become a second class citizen in another country since we will become a 3rd class citizen in less than a decade. First Class Citizens are the wealthy Ministers/Elites, 2nd class are the rich foreigners/PRs. 3rd class are the local born Singaporeans. I can only go back up one class by leaving Singapore.
The wife suggested we should follow our new PRC and Indo Chinese neighbors who received their PRs a few years back and rent out our HDB 5 rm flat instead of selling it when we leave. She said we should be grateful to them for jacking up our HDB Pty prices and thank them. I said how are we going to thank them if we only see them once every 2 years since they reside in China and Indonesia and only come back to sign up new tenants. 4 rm HDB flat in Queenstown can be rented out for at least $3000. Usually, $1K for each common room and up to $1.5K for the Master room. Rental yield is between 8%-10% based on original purchase price.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
