The giant Green Spot bottle by the road -side.......

Omakase Burger at Turf City very sedap, but damn ex.

I liked Freshness burger.
Used to go to one in woodlands when burger craving struck, it was next to a macDs.
Place closed down eventually and shop space taken over macDs.
Bro mentioned about bored with macDs not enoug variety....it's high rentals and sinkie sheep mentality that forced these out and let macDs rule.

Macs can go fuck spider....but just saw they got new rendang burger....to fight with BK I guess (my favourite on par with whopper).....have to try it out first though.

the macs rendang burger is quite good, would say it's better than bk's, just tried it over the weekend.....................
however, I don't eat other mac's burgers except occasionally he fish................... :p

I don't eat hamburgers sold at fast food restaurants because their patties are made with 30% meat and 70% offal.

Anyone remember MetalBox and Vesop?

It's quite tough to succeed in the gourmet burger segment market in Sinkie. I used to go to their branch in Central@Clarke Quay.
Quality was not bad but I don't think it justified the $15-$20 I paid for a burger and fries.

Does anyone knows where i can buy miniature collectibles? Thanks.

Remember this hot dog you bought at Dunern Road? or Bukit Merah?

Wah! That picture of Bt Merah Central brings back memories! I spent some growing up years there. In fact, we moved there before they built the actual town centre, swimming pool, bus interchange and library. There was an Emporium Holdings branch there, next to the cinema. After that came the HDB HQ.

Yes, I miss Freshness Burger.

Emporium was where CUNT is now.
Can't remember what came after the A & W....there was a halal restaurant at a time I think.
KFC was at the other end....24 hours some more back then.
Dalit cinema also....the library and hdb came later.

Yes, it was some Indian fast food halal restaurant. Don't think it lasted very long. Apart from KFC, no fast food in that area now.

Since subject is about drinks.

Heres one. Juz last week passing by. Now left only the frontage of the building. Giving way to another sickening condo project, i think. Bite the dust leow...

Force 136, thanks for that lovely photo.

Yes the Mangnolia bottles of those days came as Milk, Strwberry and Chocolate. It was a rich taste.

The walls (which the trisha-rider is passing) was the compound of the CHIJ (now CHIJMES). Believed to be servant quarters.

Sometime in the late 60s I saw an accident at these place while on my way to the old Library at Stamford.

A left turning Singapore Traction Company bus (STC Bus Service No: 18A) mowed into these wall. Fortunately no one was injured.

The gap in the damaged wall was left alone for sometime until repairs were done.

The left side was the route for buses to terminate at Neil Road.

In those days this area (city) was controlled by the STC, whereas the other bus companies plied other routes.
