All valid points, the developer is one and the traffic/accessibility is definitely another. It depends on ones security concerns actually. Some would say condo would be better but i am still keeping my landed all the same. Yes the main reason why it could go south is a financial one, it could be especially if folks uses all kinds of excuses not to pay condo maintenance, etc but now with most condos having access cards, errant late payers can be blocked access to the gate, the building or even the lift itself to convince them to pay. Even recently, a condo that a friend of my took possession of had this issue and the committee members even reached out to the owner in Singapore to remind them to pay.

I actually like Malaysia. Feel like being stagnant here in Singapore. Feels like being trapped in the box.

Anyway, i think i be buying a condo real soon and it will be for me to stay next time, maybe in 10 yrs time.

New budget 2014 need approval from Parliment first but I heard it is up to the State to implement as land is a State matter. You never know..maybe Penang also do not implement.

So after the budget approval, will penang lower down their min purchase for foreigner from 2M to 1M for landed??
 
if state just implement their own and ignore the budget recommendation, then it'll just the same as before. perak developers already making big hooha re the 1M floor price, saying it will drive away investors.

Good to know they are in Iskandar.

Every man for himself. No one is going to praise for following the Federal Government recommendations but they will curse should the State fail to develop properly.

Penang is administered very differently. Every developer there have their own story to tell.

Wow, thats a long time ago. Yes a very reliable developer who offered me money back return even when i bought my first unit in Nusa Duta back then.

Yeah, was involved in their projects in Roadbuilder (RMAF and Kuching Rivera) and RB Land (S2).
Now I am also their customer.

in squarish block design, careful of buying 3 bedder intermediate unit.. likely two rooms with window facing corridor or facing neighbor's window inside airwell. i agree. many condo in m'sia have not reached singapore standards.
