The end of Yaw Shin Leong? WP holding a press conference at 5pm

WP has increased their credibility many fold by this bold decision. PAP candidate contesting against the next WP candidate in Hougang may even loose his deposit!! It will be a real referendum on the PAP ... esp after all the price increases after the "BIG SORRY" by arse loong which turned out to be the BIG BLUFF!!:D

Nice nick. Reminds me of a joint I chiong also named Pegasus in the late 90s.

Yes, win-win for WP. Margin of victory will increase.

When did it close chop. Don't recall being there in early 90s. More late 90s. Ex-national footballer owned the joint.
1st went there mid 90s....1995. Not sure when it closed. Cashbox (orchard somerset carpark) was another regualr joint during this time.

The way the PAP will fight this now may be to avoid a by-election. That will crush the momentum the WP built with the sacking.

The question is. can PAP avoid the by-election? isnt by election set by law and the constitution? If PAP say no by election, the hougang ppl will be more dulan,,come 2016 PAP will be in a worse position. With the 5 WP MPs in Parliament. PAP MPS look like clowns and retards with regards to their performance vs WP..come 2016 PAP will be even worse,,,and looking at the current situation, PAP will not have any newer more popular candidates like TCB..they will be the FMH etc...uselss pricks and cunts...

Re: Workers' Party expels Yaw Shin Leong

that should be the way la, compared to certain party, MRT break down, terrorist escape the party still don't want to fire them

Gillian Koh will never stop being a PAP apologist. The details of the interview are clear and she is the only one remain asking the stupid why-it-took-so-long. Who expects to see one allegation surface, then the chap is expelled the next day. I can use that and all the 87 MPs will be gone. I suspect she secretly holds a PAP membership.

Yeah... such political "analst" is a disgrace... dense indeed

Everyone knows PAP will be playing it to their advantage but they can't hold off until next GE. That's over 4 years away, unless they call snap elections mid term. Drag too long and Hougang residents will grow resentful against PAP for denying them their democratic right to be represented in Parliament. So my best guess is, within a year.
