Manchester City have been taken over by the Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment (ADUG). A deal was struck late on Sunday night between the club's former owner Dr Thaksin Shinawatra and ADUG, and was confirmed on Monday. The move comes as Tottenham have announced that they have bought City defender Vedran Corluka for an undisclosed fee.

Good for Thaksin, he needs a lot of cash for his asylum case !!

he needs the cash to live his usual lifestyle after his other assets had been frozen.
should be good for City, since the group that bought it,is Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment (ADUG).
so Mark Hughes should have lots of fund for him to buy players of his choice liao.

Expected. Now he has seen his beloved Thailand for the last time, it's time to cash out, retire and fade out happily every after.

It is about time for Thaksin to cash out. :D

this is a win-win situation/deal for Man City.
with the Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment (ADUG) as new owner,Man City will have cash to buy new players.
Hughes will be very happy about it.
