Tan Kin Lian support thread

Creepy Joe and Trump Good Buddy, can establish good strong rapport with white house in 2025

In the past 20 years when Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam was a minister with the PAP, GST went from 3% to 8%.

He supported these policies to increase GST across 20 years and didn't object them did he?

Look at his parliamentary voting, did he vote alongside his party, the PAP to increase GST each time?

A vote for Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam sends a message that Singaporeans are happy and are ok to continue paying the ever increasing GST Goods & Service Tax.

Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam has been a government Minister since year 2003 for 20 years. GST was 3% and was raised to 4% in year 2003. It was increased to 5% in 2004.

In 2007 GST was increased to 7%, in 2023 GST is at 8% and there are plans to increase GST in a few months when we reach year 2024 to 9%

What's his parliamentary voting record on GST?

Vote for Mr Tan Kin Lian who has been an opponent on raising GST.

Do not spoil your vote, a spoilt vote is a wasted vote.

Let's use the Presidential election votes to send a message to the PAP government.

If they still insist on increasing GST to 9% in 2024, then we as voters will send them another message in the general elections.

NKS has already fallen out of the race, not willing to invest money in posters etc.

It proves that NKS is not serious on running for presidency. He wants to tikam tikam and win big. At the same time, use the opportunity to show the world that he is still virile.

Tiagong , Team TKL wanted him to go for broke early.

Expect Team Tharman to reply very soon.

NKS is now reduced to a " also ran " horse

He will be lucky to get back deposit. That's why my prediction for a freak election is..:

45% - Pretty ladies admirer
42% - 他媽的
13% - Vote spoiler

Under this scenario, NKS will be forever be tainted as the vote spoiler who brought down Tharman.

And if TKL taikoh really wins, he might be banned from most powers by PAP and subject to the following restrictions:

  • No more 2nd key in guarding reserves or CPIB investigation - only one key belongs to the PAP Prime Minster.
  • Cannot push nor champion any social causes. This includes any matters on cost of living, public housing, CPF, taxes and levies FTs, CECAs etc.
  • Cannot post anything on his social media except as instructed by the Prime Minister.
  • Cannot receive any foreign dignitaries - all will be taken over by the PAP PM, DPM or SM.
  • Not allowed to communicate nor contact any opposition party members.
  • Public Office powers - can no longer veto appointments to key public offices, including the chief justice and the judges of the Supreme Court; the chief of defence force and the service chiefs of the Singapore Armed Forces; the commissioner of police; the attorney-general; the director of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB), and the chairman and members of the public, judicial and legal service commissions.
  • Can no longer work with the parliament nor the cabinet. This means he is not allowed to deliver the address at the opening of Parliament.
  • Cannot have any private discussions with the Prime Minister. Cannot nag at the Prime Minister.
  • Cannot pardon any individuals from capital crimes.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary at any time under the discretion of the Prime Minister.
  • If he fails in any of the above restrictions, his monthly salary will be reduced to $8500.
  • Under 24/7 surveillance by CPIB who must report any suspicious activities to Prime Minister.

This is no cause for worry. It is not as if you have not experienced all of these during the past 12 years.
