Did you volunteer to pay tax? Get off your high horse. If you wish to talk about tax, under PAP, our tax rate is significantly lower than the UK and U.S.
Only sheeps like you keep parroting that Singapore tax is significantly lower than elsewhere. Tax structure is not just about your tax bracket. It should include considerations such as the indirect taxes as well and your eventual take home relative to your pay package.
But I am very certain that SG tax is far far much higher than in Oz. Are you surprised? Read here

If you just gotten a Cat B COE for your car, you are paying tax of $8,800 every year for the next 10 years just for that COE alone. Singapore have low tax? What rubbish are you talking?
