桃園一名23歲洪姓男子，去年10月18日第一天到超商實習上班，因積欠10萬多元接獲討債電話，情急之下以徒手、膠水、橡皮筋等工具，企圖將超商內的保險箱撬開，費盡6小時卻徒勞無功，最後發現鑰匙放在辦公室抽屜，洪男開箱得手21萬7000多元現金，事後店長發現失竊報警提告，桃園地檢考量洪男無前科，因此予以緩起訴處分，另需繳交國庫1萬元。
根據《聯合新聞網》報導，檢警調查，洪男上班首日下午3點到超商報到，因積欠10萬多元，當晚7點多接獲討債電話，情急之下洪男想起超商內有個保險箱，隔日凌晨1點多，洪男趁四下無人時，試圖以徒手、澆水、橡皮筋、膠帶及繩子等工具，想要撬開保險箱，但耗費6個多小時都沒成功，直到天亮7點許，洪男翻找辦公室，才發現鑰匙根本就在抽屜裡，於是成功開箱後，偷走21萬7000多元現金。
早上8點超商會計點清財務，發現超商保險箱鑰匙不見，經通知沈店長使用備份鑰匙打開，發現保險箱現金遭竊，調閱監視器發現竟是才第一天上班的洪男，於是報警提告。
洪男到案坦承犯行，表示因為積欠債務還不出來才一時昏頭，事後也將竊走的21萬7000多元全數償還超商；檢方審酌，考量洪男無前科，犯後坦然面對，並歸還竊款獲得原諒，認為他是一時失慮犯案，檢方偵結予以緩起訴處分，緩起訴期間1年，另必須向國庫繳交1萬元。
