It happened abt 9 months ago and the case has been settled a month ago.
An insider just told me the victim finally agreed to withdraw her complt/report for a compounded compensation sum of thousands of $.The actual sum is condidential.
But poor Paul's career in the SPF is as good as gone. Not only will he lose the respect of his subordinates, he will also lose his own self-respect and confidence. Good luck to him sincerely. It's quite unfair that for an unthinking whilst tipsy few secs action, his bright future in the SPF goes poof!
No wonder the ST had an article about molesters having to pay compensation to their victims to avoid prosecution which may even entail caning for aggravated cases.
.....you touch you pay! And we are talking thousands of $$$$, nothing less.
Anyone has more details? This is what this blog is about....reveal what the Govt/ST is reluctant to do so esp info in the public interest.
