Supermarts shouLd dedicate quick handed cashiers at Express checkout counters !

What's the point of having Express Lanes when the Q is much Longer the reguLar ones..had many
simiLiar experiences with most of the Supermarts here.Trainees or the oLder cashiers shouLd be
manning the reguLar counters; save the quicker cashiers for Express checkouts ! :(

sometimes altho express counters might limit 3 or 5 items, there are still people Q-ing with more than the limit items.
or some can debating with the cashier over a small issue and takes up everyone time.

1. Should be less than 5 item
2. Transaction in cash( no card will delay the process)
3. Must be experience fast PIC handling the cash register

Those issues' aside, the main crux is on the cashiers..many are on that tidak-apa attitude.Perhaps the Bosses
shouLd give some incentive for cashiers manning the Express checkouts ?. By cLearing the Q's fast actuaLLy
equates to better productivity and hence revenue for the company.

FT usually faster then Aunties. Good luck having Mat at the counte. They usually spend half the time talking. 40+ year old aunties also like to talk. Older ones are better workers.

Giant Parkway Parade lane 8, always longest queue but always fastest, because the PRC chiobu damn efficient

Our supermarts should hire more PRC talent to improve efficiency.

Not just fast people needed at express counters.

Hate it when there are long snaking queues at 3 counters, and there are another 5 counters unmanned.
They should train those at the back/store room or those stacking shelves to man the counters! Increase productivity..

This I saw in melb, long snaking queues start to appear, announcement over the PA, reinforcements appeared, queues disappeared.. Coles, Safeway, Kmart, Target, etc.. Something the local supermarkets can pick up.
