it is know that HDB flats are free for 9 percent of subprime people who dont pay their morgages to HDB.

In the end since hdb cannot kick them out , HDB purposely mark up HDB prices so as to recover losses from the rest of DUMB singaporeans.

You may ask why HDB is forced to sell to these subprime people ? well LKY once say that 100 percent home ownership is required as he scare people dont want to serve NS without owning property.

This is CLEAR evidence of the success of our HDB housing program. You see- even subprime people can be granted loans and become PROUD owners of their own homes.

And even when these people have trouble with repayments, the HDB still helps them with financial assistance and delay repossession of their homes. Contrast this with the situation in the U.S.A where banks force subprime-ppl out their homes and into the streets when they can't pay.

As a result of having a compasionate government, whether you are rich or poor... as long as you are a Singaporean, you can own a home.

vulnerable to foreign elements? the way they build HDB, it cant even withstand wear & tear of natural elements or inhibitants. they boast so much about the speed & efficiency of building using precast or prefab walls, but when the joints come together, there's plenty of gap that compromises waterproofing.

the occupants of sengkang, buangkok & punggol may not see the effects yet. but to preview what it's going to be like, just refer to those units in tampines, pasir ris, simei, hougang north (using prefab assembly, and should be 10-15yrs old already).

8% of hdb owners cannot pay their mortgage. How long have HDB been in existence compared to the US housing market?
