If Holland-Bukit Timah GRC were to fall to the SDP in Friday's election, it would undoubtedly be the biggest shock in Singapore's electoral history.

The PAP would need to go back to the drawing board and have a serious re-think on policy and strategy. LHL's leadership would definately be questioned.

I don't have access to any straw poll. I'm voting for the opposition because of the following reasons:

1. It's dangerous to give one party too much power because they will try to abuse the power by favouring friend, relatives e.g. LKY's famiLee business

2. I want my savings returned. My CPF is mine & not some else's piggy bank.

3. No more PAP get rich schemes like the MediShield life.

There are of course other issues like the MRT breakdowns, the population white paper, pending GST increases, high inflation, enemployment,...Etc.

I bet other Sporeans share my concerns about where Spore is heading but I get the impression that attitudes are changing & they are willing to vote for the opposition. I hope so because time is running out for us "lesser mortals"

Most polls do 1000 samples for a margin of error of ~3%
10000 polls is logistically implausible and hard to hide. If it had really happened, lots of people would have noticed and reported it.
Furthermore the margin for N=10000 is ~1%, not 3%, so obviously the numbers are made up by someone who doesn't know statistics.

They need to get a strong leader to lead the party, the current crop of Tharman, TCH, Bargain Hen..not that Cow$8 or all the paper generals, don't cut a commanding figure.....one come to my mind...but is he or is he still part of the PAP?...GY! I am not a PAP supporter, never liked or loved them....but looking at it objectively, the need a revival....LHL, is not a good or great leader, cut from supposedly from good quality 'Cambridge' brand cloth...but sadly, the quality is damn lousy!.
