Strategy in a stew

WORLD Cup or your woman? The kick-off to this soccer season can get you kicked in the behind if you are not careful.
What to do if your partner is not quite enamoured with the sport? It's all about strategy.
Think diversion. Think distraction.
Encourage your woman to engage in a sporting event which calls for lots of power walking - shopping.
Sacrifice is needed though. A free kick is not really free. Somebody has to pay the penalty.
Sponsor your woman's shopping sprees.
She has a ball of a time working up a sweat while you score free time to watch all the balls you want being kicked around.
Promise her a dinner of beef stew when she gets home.
Stuff the meat in the slow cooker and catch a nice afternoon nap before the matches start.
A woman who has had her fill of stew and shopping is more easily coaxed into bed.
There, gently break the news that she is no longer the sole focus of your nocturnal pursuits.
Instead, it will be the World Cup channel that is keeping you up nights.
Just remember to keep the volume down. Wake the wife up and she may decide to show you her shopping spoils at half-time.
