Judge Jill Tan said that it was unnecessary to jail her as she was suffering from depression at the time of the offence.

The judge also said that Tay had a low-risk of re-offending and had a clean record since 2008.

She has posed for various magazine covers, such as Maxim and Playeur. She was also one of the many models in game show Deal or No Deal.

She did not possess a valid driving licence at that time. As a result, her housemate, a Bulgarian business manager, received a summons from the Traffic Police in Feb 2008.

She is completely nuts ! Given the fact that she lead a glamourous life with her early accomplishment as a model, I guess she has ways to make people give in to her regardless of her cause. Or she has a bigger sugar daddy who can afford to pay her legal fees.

I am amazed how she was able to twirl the ex-DSP under her thumb just like that. Any policemen with even the slightest hint of integrity would not succumb to such ideas of bribery or falsifying information.

Now everyone also can drive without valid driving liciense and insurance if they can afford $2k fine.
Make sure public emember this case and all will refer to this case outcome if they caught on driving without liciense max only $2k. Sure will be less because not trying to cheat by bride others to take the blame.

Stories like this one shows that the Spore justice system is no better than what you find in other 3rd world: Indonesia, Thailand,...

As the Spore judges , policemen,.....are better paid & educated there is really no excuse for what is going on
