Those awarded A*Star scholarships get sinkee citizenship as well. They get a full scholarship (air tickets to return home annually, living allowances, textbook allowances, all fees paid) to top universities from undergraduate to post-graduate (a total of 10 years) costing taxpayers about $1 million. After first degree, they become sinkapore citizens. That way, they can deny that graduate scholarships are given to foreigners.
When you go to A*Star research institute, see how many Ah Nehs and Ah Tiongs are there. They were educated using our tax dollars. $1 million each ...how many millions have we spent on foreigners?
