<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->MY WIFE and I have just returned from buying groceries at the NTUC FairPrice supermarket in Marine Parade.
At the checkout, I put a bag of groceries on the counter. A bottle of oyster sauce fell out and shattered as it hit the floor. As the cashier, Ms Goh Lay Hua, had checked the total, my wife paid the full amount. Another employee cordoned off the area with some shopping baskets so no one would get hurt by the broken glass.
In the meantime, my wife returned to the shelf to get a new bottle of oyster sauce. She then went to another checkout counter to pay.
However, realising my wife was at another counter, Ms Goh went there, related the incident and asked her colleague not to charge for the new bottle. She was adamant we should not pay for it.
This was service at its best. A big thank you to Ms Goh and her colleagues.

Makap,

Human kindness should not be made fun of. Go do some self-reflection on this.
