S'pore kicked out of Malaysia football League..AGAIN. Fucking FAS is the shits

Serious question : when was it when Malaysia used to beat south korea and japan

Indian Muslim logic. Mokhtar Dahari was the best striker in Asia in his heyday, but even at that time the M'sian national team was not on the same level as Japan, South Korea or the Middle-Eastern countries.

Burma was twice asian games champions 1966, 1970 , but other south east asians teams never came close to this level.

Walan eh that's England win World Cup era....you'll be hard pressed to find someone who actually witness those events still alive now.
Now the only SEA country that can hack it in Asian is probably only the Thais....the rest get ready for one sided basketball type of score line.

The Malaysians were trying the extort money from Singapore and FAS refused to cave in. I fully support the FAS on this issue.

Bullshit. The only reason that the FAS can sell their won broadcast rights and have money from sponsors and increased gate revenues is because they are playing in the Malaysia League. If FAM had not allowed them to come back in, the fucks would be playing infront of 2000 spectators and lucky to get a hawker stall as a sponsor.

And that's with sing pools opening plate on those pathetic s league matches.....else crowd strength would be 200 at most

It was better. Malaysia qualifed for the Munich Olympics game in 1972. To get there, they beat Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and in the actual Olympics. they defeated the US team 3-0. But lost to Germany. They also qualified for the 1980 Olympics.

Ok, I stand corrected. In '72 I was still following the M'sia Cup. Didn't follow the Olympics, but was a fan of the World Cup, starting from the '74 edition when my favourite team lost a heartbreak final to Germany.

Wow thanks. They even won one match, beating USA (see below, got 4 chinese names!). So it seems like SEA football was competitive at asian continental level in the 60s and 70s. Burma won back-to-back asian games. Singapore were 4th. Malaysia qualifying for and winning a match at the olympics.

Couple Of Points:

1. Ingolstadt FC is a German football team that is in the Bundesliga for the first time in their history. ;)

2. Football fans should watch the Bundesliga instead of the Malaysian football league. :D
