Recently SPH journalist picked up a story about a chap's marital issues involving his Vietnamese wife from this forum and pursued it.
How about going after Temasek Review. Who is Manisha Kumari? Why are they seeking donations to help the homeless. Are they are genuine charity? How much has been collected via Paypal in the name of charity? Who are NGOs involved in placing the homeless as claimed by Temasek Review? The site receives alot of hits from Singapore.
Is there are need for Singaporeans to be warned?
You can start by contacting Khalil Adis, a warm body who has contributed an article but probably has no clue who the people behind the blog are.

Projects
Below are a series of social and education projects sponsored by the Temasek Review:
PROJECT KASIH
“Kasih” means “Compassion” in the Malay language. ”Project Kasih” was started in September 2009 to help Singapore elderly who needs to scavenge for used cardboards, papers and cans in the streets for a living.

How you can help us:
1. If you come across any street scavenger, homeless elderly sleeping in HDB void decks or any neglected elderly in financial distress, please email us their location at [email protected]
2. We will contact a volunteer from a NGO (quite a few have already established contact with us) to make a trip in person and find out more about his/her family background and assess if he/she qualifies for a sheltered or nursing home.
3. If the elderly has a home already, does not qualify for a nursing/sheltered home or is unwilling to live there, we will provide him/her with a monthly allowance of $30 for a start which will gradually be increased in the future as the site rakes in more advertising revenue. Though it may not amount to much, it will at least help reduce his/her workload.
4. At the same time, we will publish where these elderly can be found (at work) on our site so that well-wishers can drop by and pass them food or cash from time to time. However, their personal details will be kept strictly confidential.
5. We will try to keep in touch with these elderly on a registry we are collating at least once a month to make sure they are coping well.
We are looking for social workers and volunteers to participate in this project. If you have any suggestions or are interested to join us, please drop us an email at: [email protected]
NGOs and VWOs who wish to participate in this project, please contact us as well
