I JUST returned from an enriching holiday in Alice Springs and the famed Ayers Rock in the Northern Territories of Australia.
Since my return, I have felt compelled to share the work practices of the personnel engaged in the tourism industry there.
On a day tour of West MacDonnell Ranges, the tour guide, who was also the driver of the coach, picked up guests from various points at scheduled times. En route, the guide-cum-driver not only enlightened guests on various aspects about the attractions on the itinerary, but also entertained us as well with well-timed anecdotes and hilarious quips.
After visiting a major attraction, the guide quickened his pace to return to the coach ahead of the group, to prepare for a "smoke out", which was a tea or coffee break with suitable tea items. During lunch break, he served packaged food and drinks with dessert neatly laid out. After each break he had to clean, clear and tidy up before we proceeded further with the day's itinerary.
The level of multitasking undertaken by the guide and his productivity was quite amazing. On the last day, he barbecued our dinner and served champagne.
If Singapore workers multitask and are productive in ways exemplified by this guide, then wage hikes are deserved and well-justified.

stupid fuck. did she know that the driver's pay is how many fuck times higher than an average Singaporean driver?

and that dumb fuck probably don't know his working hours is strictly written and enforced, i.e he does not work past certain hours.

maybe she shld set an xmple by offering to be the secertary + coffee lady + toilet cleaner for her company and after that ask her boss for pay rise.

Considering how 'Cheap' employers in Singapore are: You have probably gave them a good idea on promoting productivity while getting a a 0.00000001 % pay increase..

This is what singapore employers are about,,,Look at our PAP,,,only big shots get good pay

This bloody bitch must be a pap sucker..

The pap can pay so many mp to run a constituency or to do a job but they expect a lowly paid worker to multitask like a super dual or many core cpu..

Now the government quickly and quietly pass policies to increase
the pay of their loyal supporters .

We complain folks on the ground are suffering they go increase their own coffers .

Bro, I don't know if you refer to all civil serpents as their loyal supporters.

But I do know the bonus or any increased pay to them is usually a prelude to their masters' increase of pay or bonus(Since it hasn't been so for some time now). So maybe this time round the rumors about the ministars' salary going up may be true.

Anyway juz for info, after the ministars increase their salaries, those low level civil serpents would also suffer like other peasants cos they are themselves a peasant too though some of them might be a loyal supporters.

It is the ministars and those super scale civil serpents that will enjoy the benefits like their masters.

That is the positive effects of enforcing the following :

1) an 8-hour working day, 5 days a week.
2) Min wage of A$22 per hour (I 'm sure this bus driver
gets more than that.)
3) Knows that his UNION will prevent unecessary competition and fight for his rights, not the employer's.
4) Knows that in the event the tourism industry face a
downturn, there is a safety net for him.
5) That happy clients will give him a tip.

If locals are given all these perks, I'm sure they will
be more than capable of these simple multitasks and
more.

I suspect the tour guide is a gorgeous hunk...and well-hung too !

If it were an old man, do you think SPG would be bothered ?

Need i say more? She is a prime example of how airhead and country bumpkin these SPGs can get.

Justifying Aussie high wage rate juz because of this freaking tourguide from redneck town.

She needs to understand that the high wage rate in Aussie is not base on productivity. It's more of a combination of their high min wage, wage inflation and strong labour union.

God damn it! I bet you that she can't wait to get stuffed by this freaking angmo tourguide from redneck town!

Hey Chung King Chi (Ms), for not getting ur facts right before putting up an argument, i seriously think u deserve this: :oIo:

Even though the conclusions she arrived at are wrong, I think the facts she laid out bear examining.

First, the driver-guide she had is by no means unique in Australia. A few years back, when I took a tour of the Margaret River area, I was just as adequately served by a 60+ yo woman.

This suggests to me that what these guides do is something that is sustainable, i.e. not something that takes so much out of you that you burn out by 40.

Second, samsters here are right about the pay and conditions. While she would not say what her pay was, she did describe the conditions under which she worked and they provided enough time for recovery after each tough outing. The company also took care that they had variety.

Third, training. The tour company took great pains to train their guides so that they can carry out their duties without rush.

Fourth, planning. The driver-guides would never be able to carry out their tasks had there not been extensive planning and system-networking. The industry there takes this very seriously.

Why the difference in attitudes between Au and Sg in this area? I think one big difference is that in Au, the workers and the tourists are at the centre of the industry. Next, because the workers feel adequately compensated, they show respect to the sites they either manage or visit with the tourists. And because the guides show respect, the tourists would at least refrain from their worse habits, e.g. littering, etc. This in turn makes the places and vehicles easier to manage.

And why is there such willingness to invest in people? Democracy, and no ready pool of cheap labour.

Yes she does, but only during an orgy, where all her three holes mouth, ass and cunt are being entered at the same time while her breasts are also being groped as well.

But other than that the hoe that is fast approaching 30 is a good-for-nothing. When she has come of that age, she would have nothing to do.
