Some 140 real estate agencies have closed shop over the 12 months to March 31, 2015 and over 3,000 property agents have quit the industry in that period as the sluggish property market continued to take its toll on industry players.

A very telling sign about state of property market which is crashing and bleeding/dying. tell that to that narong and xebay who still are in denial and in a delusional state about their pigeon hole's worth. by now worth a rat hole. hahahahha

What denial? I also knew that property market would crash and for simple reasons like ABSD and TDSR it is you who claim all kinds of rubbish and lucky guess to predict the fall. Anyway why you hate agents they always help me with rentals and sales, you search for properties and clients by yourself? Tsk tsk

Demand have crashed, only 446 units were resold in Sept 2015.

With the huge oversupply and recession looming, escalating vacancy rates and sinking rents, sellers need to slash prices to attract buyers in this climate.

Condo resale prices drop by 1.2% in September

446 units were resold this month.

Meanwhile, condo resale volume sinked by 10.6%, compared to 499 units sold last month.

Resale volume is also now down a whopping 78.2% compared to its last peak in April 2010, when 2,050 units were resold.

Couldn't have happened to a better breed of people….real estate agents….scum of the earth….bastards aren't even worthy enough to drive a cab….waiting tables at mcdonalds seems appropriate.

Most of the property agents i know of are ex lucky plaza watch touts.
 
A good example is that most of them are on the side of the property owner even though they are suppose to be serving the tenants who are paying the commission.(the tenant's agents)

Driven by greed as they will usually butter the property owner and try to short change tenants eg installing 2nd hand aircons, inferior furnishing
ect2 hoping that they will eventually get the commission for the sale.

The key reason for the crash is global economics. All indicators are down. Local GLC and MNCs are releasing their contract staff and FT and hence impact the property market.
 
My friend just bought a EC at 750k. Where is the crash ????

How many times do i to say it in this forum. Anecdotes are not statistics. Even in the deepest recession also got people buy property.... cock....
