More on this case had been revealed, such as the slaughter had been ASSUMED over a property dispute with her ex-father in law, whom had been given the funds to purchase a highly valued property by the late Mdm Choi but under his name, as reported by the media.
It is only right that the media & social media attempt to portray Mdm Choi as a nice friendly & caring person, to her ex in laws & even to pets. Such is done out of respect to the victim, & often done. However, in order to get the truths out of this case, one would have to deal with realities, & learn the lessons so that such cases can be avoided in the future.
No mortal is perfect, no matter how one or others attempt to portray victims. There is no smoke without fire. HongKongers are well known to be crude, rude & disdainful to each other in conversations, often with insults which will often lead to hurt & worse-aggravations later on as wounds will only grow & grow in the heart, leading to adverse & regrettable actions.
Legally, Mdm Choi's ex father in law already has the right to the property as it is under his name. Had there been other kind of legal arrangements that would render that legal right void by Mdm Choi, that caused the dispute & ended up with such gruesome murder? As the ex father in law had legal rights to the property, there was no need to make Mdm Choi 'disappear'.
Was Mdm Choi WRONGLY advised by friends, to put pressure upon her ex father in law, that sadly resulted in her passing? If so, then her 'friends' or closed ones would have to be partially responsible for her passing. No one can give good advise to another if one does not fully understand the issues, such as her family background, her relationships with others, her financial situation, etc. As it was over a property dispute, most 'advisers/friends or loved ones' would simply tell her to press her case, to make big bucks, as it is common in HK that most value land & $$$ over everything else, without full understanding of the capability & abilities of her in laws whom the media is portraying as degenerates & fraudsters.
It could had been avoided. I am not saying that she should just roll over & be bullied. Far from it, as I had never lived on knees to bullies. She should have STRATEGIZE, formulate an effective plan to retake back her property thru PROFESSIONAL lawyers & therapists, legally even if HK is no more under UK Common Law but China law, & cordially - win win situation for all without anyone hurt thru acceptable innovative compromises rather than be confrontational & suffer the horrific consequences.
Thus, at this stage of the case, the 1st lesson to be learnt is - be careful of 'CARELESS whispers of supposed good friends', should one be faced with such a situation.
