When i asked our Club's Dy Manager, all the answer i got was; Muslims' dont consume pork..
If that's the line taken, then how about the Hindus, Buddhists etcc..cant understand why the leeway..

No ham sandwiches in schools, community meetings etc. Reflects poorly on the Jewish and Muslim religious authority. Other cultures and religions have certain restrictions but they don't just drag the rest of the world into their preferences. Sadly the pig is not an evil and avoidance in that part of the world was due to the heat when such meat goes badly quite quickly.
