last time i tasted it in 2012 ICT, it improved ... not bad compared to 2002 when it was totally tasteless. but maybe BMT food and unit food is different? i know most of the camps are catered by singapore food services, who also make aircraft food. they supposedly cost taxpayers ~S$8-12 per meal. which i find ridiculous 'cause the drinks are still cheapskate syrup, and the fruit sometimes look like plucked from surrounding forest... not very clean

was told when SFS came in on trial they did tip top to win the contract......then after that everything went downhill (similar to PAP). $8-$12 per head is really overcharging.....but SFS also kakilang lah....some cronies must be laughing to the bank.
Anyways no chance to try army food liao.........missed the combat rations though.......not the green packets but the old canned food.

Last time I RP so go officer's mess eat breakfast and when I go cook house, the cook will ask me what I want and whether its enuf. Other people get one chicken wing each, I have a full plate of chicken wings. Membership does have its privileges.

Officers can order ala carte. NCOs eat buffet. Men if want to eat well have to make friends with the cooks.
