The misc fees plus GST plus all the government fees etc..comes up three quarters of the rental fee & in the lowest Category of rentals. Sad, you become a food seller, you attracts so many, "pap leeches" that suck the blood out of you.

Don't forget the affordable utilities bill you have to pay...plus the vehicle you own to transport your ingredients & get to work plus the car park fees...effectively, you are being sucked dry....

But they will tell you, the hawkers can afford big cars, big houses...etc right?

Better work in McDonald's la! Seriously, the only way to make money is to screw consumers by giving very little meat, or ask for extra money for every single thing. Very soon, have to pay extra for adding chilli!

And we wonder why our hawker food are served in smaller portions and are expensive. Plus the fact that most tastes like shit. Hawkers need to recoup their operating costs and hopefully eke out a modest living.

The pap is killing our hawker heritage, but pretending to be giving it a leg up.
